One of Sicily's best known red wines. A zesty, brash, cherry-scented wine with bold fruit flavours paired with more subdued earthy and spicy notes that keep the wine solidly grounded. Full bodied, ripe and concentrated with solid warm smooth tannins on the finish. It pairs well with risotto, baked pasta, red meats, game, lamb and seasoned cheeses.
