This expressive Syrah from the steep, granite slopes of Saint-Joseph is a textbook example of the northern Rhône’s elegant power. The “Terroir de Granit” cuvée takes its name from the fractured granite soils that lend the wine its mineral tension and refined structure. Aromas of blackberry, violet, and cracked pepper rise from the glass, layered with smoked meat, olive tapenade, and a subtle graphite edge.

On the palate, it’s poised and savoury — medium to full-bodied with fine-grained tannins and a long, peppery finish that reflects both place and precision. Aged partly in oak barrels and partly in concrete to preserve purity and texture, it’s a superb match for roast lamb, game, or mushroom dishes.
