This wine is made using Pinot Nero grapes from the Oltrepo Pavese area in northwest Italy. After careful maturation the wine develops a lovely pink colour, and a delicate flavour. On the palate it is the wine's freshness and body as well as its notable persistent, fragrant flavour that is most evident. An excellent substitute for pink Champagne as an aperitif.
